This is a starting template — review and edit each section below so it accurately describes what CleanSlate actually collects and does before publishing.
This policy explains what information CleanSlate ("the App") collects, how it's used, and your choices. CleanSlate is built by MirodaLab ("we", "us").
CleanSlate is designed around fast, local note capture. By default, the notes you write are stored on your device. If a future version adds optional account creation, cloud backup, or sync, this section should be updated to describe what account information (such as an email address) that feature collects.
Any notes you create are used only to power the App's own features — showing, searching, and organizing your notes. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Your notes live on your device unless you explicitly enable a sync or backup feature. If CleanSlate later adds cloud sync, describe here where that data is hosted and how it's protected.
This website uses Giscus for comments, which stores comments as GitHub Discussions under GitHub's own privacy policy. The App itself does not currently integrate third-party analytics or advertising SDKs — update this section if that changes.
CleanSlate is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this policy as the App changes. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
